We are a group of friends and acquaintances -- a merry band of pranksters indeed -- who have been arguing about politics on-and-off, then really on, then a little off... since 1998. On email. But that meant literally thousands of emails a year. That was too many. So here's the blog dedicated to carrying on that spirit of political and pop culture argument and dialogue. You might think of us as "schmoliticians", because while we take politics seriously, we try not to take ourselves quite so.
OK, just used the Enquirer-like title to bring attention and excitement to the fact that CNN picked up the Wren Chapel cross story. Nothing really new here (except that, according to the story, I appear to be siding with Newt Gingrich on something - although perhaps for different reasons).

Haha, well CNN doesn't get too worked up over a perceived anti-Christian act (not my rationale for disliking W&M's move, but some look at it that way).
Not so, FoxNews. They're on the scene! Guarding the fast-fading religion lest Christians fall from 98% of the population to 97%.
I heard SuperChristian Crusader Wm. "Bill" O'Reilly has personally taken an interest in the matter. Expect him to kick ass and spin that whole sitch-ay-shun down soon...
Oh Flying Spaghetti Monster, I'm on the same side as Newt Gingrich AND Bill O'Reilly?? Maybe I should re-examine my position...
