"Roots of the Ultra Left"
This gem from the Leadership Institute advertsises their deep, probing (and completely unbiased) look at the "Ultra Left". To wit:

It’s the documenatry you can’t afford to miss.I'm tempted to read the script for the sheer comedic value... 35 things the "Ultra Left" really thinks? Would that include things like:
- Guaranteed access to healthcare for all Americans?
- Separation of Church & State?
- An end to aggressive, pro-war, unilateral foreign policy?
- Sustainable environmental defense?

Wow, do you think "pagan sacrifice," "the designated hitter rule," and "a sense of humor" made the list?
Why do we constantly feel the need to compartmentalize ourselves as left and right, liberal and conservative? Is there ever an issue that is so black/white that there can only be two acceptable and valid viewpoints? It certainly does make it easy to dismiss opposing views as "ultra left/right" when we don't want to consider an issue from all angles.
I am not as opposed to the ruling as I am to the logic. The US Constitution is what it is - screw taking a public opinion poll.
I don't follow -- what ruling? What logic? Did you comment on the wrong post?
Still screwing up, that comment went w/ the juv. death penalty. Okay w/ the policy, just not the logic used to get there.
