Robertson's opened his mouth again...
True to my theory that the louder and more publicly a person proclaims how religious they are, the more of an a**hole they are likely to be, we have Exhibit A: Pat Robertson. Now he's telling a PA town not to run crying to God if a natural disaster hits them, because they rejected God by voting a school board out of office for trying to introduce intelligent design to their schools. Apparently calling for violent, unnatural deaths for foreigners isn't enough, he's hoping for Americans now.
Amen?

I predict that a bolt of lightning will strike Pat Robertson within the next 45-60 days. Either that, or a hole is just going to open up in the earth, and he'll be swallowed up, never to be seen or heard from again.
[Nice to know that he was the #1 campaign supporter of our brand new Lt. Gov. here in VA.]

Being that I work with a lot of individuals that fall into both categories, I have to agree. Some of our most unethical, dishonest, and overall bad clients are in some way, shape or form associated with the Religious Right.
It is the attitude that "God is with me, so if you are against me, you are against God" that really gets me.
But as with most things in life, it just isn't worth getting worked up over. I don't presume to know God's mind (and I have a feeling he gets a little miffed when the Falwells, Robertsons and others of their ilk proclaim to).
