Looks like somebody's been meeting in the Holiday Inn Rosslyn parking lot again!
Vice President Dick Cheney authorized Scooter Libby to "out" Valerie Plame as a CIA agent in order to discredit her husband. Extra! Extra! Read all about it!
Watergate II has begun.

I think it matters if there's evidence now that the Vice President of the United States directed his chief of staff to leak classified information to the media in order to discredit Ambassador Wilson. If I'm not mistaken, there was no clear link to Cheney before; so, prior to this new evidence, his involvement was all speculation. I don't know that this will ever prove that the White House engaged in a disinformation campaign leading up to the Iraq War, but it certainly casts some serious doubts on their claims to the contrary.
Well, at least Cheney didn't shoot Wilson's wife. Apparently, these days she wouldn't have gotten off that easy! I hear that guy in Texas only said he was thinking about donating $100 to Hilary's Senate campaign! :)
I agree with Harris. Its very important that an American VP is outing our own intelligence agents in order to political revenge. This is very serious. Now, to politicians this might not seem too important because the new cycle where this was a top priority seems to have past, but to people looking at the right & wrong of it, the legal & illegal of it, it should still be very important. There are some things you just don't do. Ever. No matter what.
My favorite quote from the local sheriff referring to accidents of the type the VP was involved in:
"Similar accidents occur 'not frequently, but often' among hunters in the area, Salinas said."
Not frequently, but often. Fantastic. Isn't that the same amount of times a child is left behind?
I'm so done with these ass clowns.
I mean come on, seriously, how can you basically embody the word "jingoism", spray your hyper-patriotism all over Creation, only to turn around and rat out one of this Nation's covert intelligence agents because her husband is being politically inconvenient? For shame, Senor I'll-Shoot-Em-All-Up Cheney... for shame!
