Republicans at it again...this time in Ol' Virginnie!

Its sad they don't feel they can win an election without this sort of thing. Can't they just rely on atrocious redistricting like Texas?

Although it does explain why Ryan, Randy, and Clay's phones have been busy all day... :)

Wait a second... I got a call that said that Republicans were voting today and Democrats were supposed to vote tomorrow. Are you trying to tell me that this is a lie? Damn those Republicans!! Outsmarted again!!

This might be a fun night to watch Fox News. Watch all the crying and hand wringing...

Have Fox News on in the background on my computer. All they're talking about is how skewed the exit polling that show's big Dem numbers is. This is awesome!

One of the Fox guys just said Rick Santorum is a "true compassionate conservative." And he wasn't trying to be funny, or trying to make a statement about what "compassionate conservatives" are really like.

WTF????

Here's a voting experience I will share: The Allen camp had some young Republican worker at my precinct (probably 20 years old, but good for him for getting involved), while Webb had two old crows working his side. The timid GOPer left me alone (which is what I expect when I am going to vote), while the Webbies accosted me to vote for Webb. Needless to say, I had a little fun with the Webb folks. But I say get the candidate representatives away from the voting precincts. If you haven't made up your mind by the time you've reached the booth, you shouldn't be voting anyway! It's like having having someone standing right next to you at the urinal. Very uncomfortable.

Haha, OK, I'll go back to watching unaffiliated news networks. :) Also, I agree about the poll workers. Unnecessary and annoying.

One last moment of orgasmic joy from last night:

When Dems finally hit the +15 mark in the House, Fox News had a celebratory graphic for it with something like "Democrats Take The House" or some such, playing in front of fireworks (kudos to them for bipartisan graphics, btw).

The moment of joy came when Brit Hume noticed the graphic and pointed it out to the audience. He discussed it for a few seconds in a voice so dripping with distaste, nay disgust, you would have thought the graphic read "Yippee for the Holocaust!" He then, get this, proceeded to assure the audience that Fox News would have created such a graphic no matter which party won, as if Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity might pop up out of nowhere and accuse Fox News of liberal bias.

It was sooooooooo sweet...
