Free Texas!

Just another example of repression from the Politburo...er...Bush Admin & friends. Where's Lech Walesa when you need him?

Tell me again why we need a Polish labor and human rights activist from the 1980s?

Walesa was, first and foremost, the leader of Polish resistence to the Communist, that is totalitarian, system in Poland. A place where the populace was repressed and bad things happened if you spoke out against, or embarrassed, Party leaders. His vehicle was Solidarity (a labor union). From there, the link is none too complex.
